Just Choose One...That was the message

Yesterday I spent the day down in the woods with 3 wonderful people. Each of them from a different walk of life, with different life experiences and perspectives of our world.

The purpose of the gathering was just to be in each other company to chat, explore and enjoy natures brilliance as we nudge our way in to the confused British autumn which doesn't know whether it wants to be gloriously sunny or bloody freezing.

One of those three, was Dawn. A long time friend; more latterly a client and student of mine and Claire and she had created for me the most beautiful soul portrait. Dawn's story in itself is an epic adventure, and I will let her share that with us another day. Her transformation from burnt out and disillusioned teacher to transformational healing mentor and spiritual coach has been meteoric. She can't quite believe it herself!!

I knew the portrait was coming and I was excited to see it and to hear what Dawn had channelled for me in terms of messages within the Portrait! Im a 1 energy after all! Its all in the knowing!

Today I have gifted myself a day of self care where I am really looking at the drawing and the messages. One of the messages was to choose JUST ONE of the Four Agreements and concentrate on that.

The Four Agreements is a beautiful book by Don Miguel Ruiz that was published back in 1997 and sold over 8 million copies and was on the New York Times bestseller list for over a decade. I read it a few years ago so knew straight away what this referred to.

This morning a found my book and I looked at each of the 4 Agreements and knew straight away which of the four was for me to concentrate on.

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY.
NOTHING THAT OTHERS DO IS BECAUSE OF YOU. WHAT OTHERS SAY OR DO IS A PROJECTION OF THEIR OWN REALITY.
WHEN YOU ARE IMMUNE TO THE OPINIONS AND ACTIONS OF OTHERS, YOU WON'T BE THE VICTIM OF NEEDLESS SUFFERING.

Without hesitation THIS WAS IT! The last few months I have gone within and found comfort in the 2 energy present in my design. As a 5/1 Manifesting Generator, I have the innate ability to help lots of people. I am a fixer. It is one of the things that I am on this planet to do and be.

The 5 energy however has the bloody knack of being projected upon and 2 things happen. One is that, if my boundaries are not strong I will do things to help people even when it doesn't light me up - hello burnout and overwhelm and, the other is that I am bloody brilliant in others eyes unless I express those boundaries or in some way don't make the grade in their Judgy McJudgeson eyes.

INTEGRITY is huge for a 5 energy and its is one of my absolute core values.

TRIGGER!!!!

You may remember a couple of months ago I shared my journey about the opening of old wounds. (if not you can catch up on that in our Podcast Episode 40 - link here). Seven years ago my INTEGRITY was called in to huge question by some people that had the power to ruin our life. Long story short, we fought...we won...we were battered and bruised and I absolutely cared what ANYONE and EVERYONE thought at the time so hid. It took a lot of work to come back from that and 5 years later those wounds were opened again when I found out that at last someone was going to be held accountable for their actions.

It also helped me to make sense of the other triggers I had experienced during my time in this online world and TODAY I am learning to reframe the narrative.

Two things have come to light in the past 24 hours. Dawn's message to me to work on one of the Four Agreements and secondly, a poem by a lovely friend Donna Ashworth, that I hadn't read before this morning appeared in my world. Donna's work inspired me to get well 7 years ago so it's no surprise that her work continues to be present in others areas of my growth.

It will come to pass that your good heart will not always be taken care of.
That your kind soul will not always be kept well by others.
That your acts of love will be twisted into ugly stories, tales in which you are the villain.
And it will hurt this good heart of yours, to hear that such mistruth exists, that there are those who will turn pure intentions into plots and selfless into subterfuge.
But when this sadness comes about, as it must, be brave.
You know this heart of yours and all the care it holds for our world and all in it.
You know what you did not do and what you did do, so beautifully.
And those who can see, do see you. Or they will, very soon.
The others, may never be able to.
And that, my friend, is a sad tale much bigger, than any they have set out to create.

I see those that taught me these lessons. I hope that they one day realise that those that are good, see through their distorted reality, and it is not our truth.

And for you, if it resonates with you too, be brave and come out of hiding. The world needs to see you shine.

My trip down to the woods yesterday was always a part of the big picture.
